Each year Tecumseh Schools Foundation gives student scholarships to graduating Tecumseh High School seniors as well as alumni. The future strength of a community lies in its young people and Tecumseh Schools Foundation is pleased to support the youth of Tecumseh as they pursue their goals for the future. Applications deadlines are set by the Lenawee Community Education Foundation and can be filled out on their website: http://lenaweecommunityfoundation.com/scholarships/ Any questions can be addressed to the Tecumseh High School guidance office.
Irene Boltz Scholarship
The Irene Boltz Scholarship is available to any graduating senior from Tecumseh High School pursuing a career in Teacher Education.
Bertha LaPointe
Scholarship
The Bertha LaPointe Scholarship is available for any senior or any graduate of Tecumseh High School with any major attending any college or university. It is need-based.
Coach Lawson
Scholarship
The “Coach” Lawson Family Scholarship is available to any senior or graduate of Tecumseh School who is applying to or attending a Michigan college and studying any major. Applicant must provide a letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher or guidance counselor.
Lillian Buttolph Scholarship
The Lillian Buttolph Scholarship is available to any senior or graduate of Tecumseh High School pursuing a career in elementary education. Preference is given to students attending a Michigan public college or university (renewable for four years).
Gerald Nelson Scholarship
The Gerald Nelson Scholarship is available to any senior or graduate of Tecumseh High School pursuing a career in Biology or a related science field. It is a renewable scholarship.
Louise Lawson Scholarship
The Louise Lawson Memorial Scholarship is available to any senior or graduate pursuing a career in any medical field. The student must be applying to or attending a Michigan college. Letter of recommendation is required from a coach, teacher or guidance counselor.
